Rheoencephalography is based on the effect of a low-frequency electric current applied through a special device known as a rheograph. The effect is achieved using electrodes on the brain. The monitor is currently displaying an image of brain tissue resistance. Thus, disorders in veins, arteries, and small vessels are documented. The device has six channels that allow for simultaneous examination of several areas. A rubber band is used to secure metal electrodes in the areas that the doctor will examine.

- You should take 10-15 minutes to rest before the diagnostics.
- Keep your eyes closed throughout the procedure.
- Before installation, certain areas are treated with alcohol. There's no need to strain.
- It is forbidden to take blood flow-affecting drugs the day before the exam.
- Before REG, remove all jewelry and hairpins.
